About NDC

Navigating Disability Colorado is an independent advocacy company founded in 2021 that empowers the disability community to successfully advocate for services. Medicaid waivers offer lifelong medical and community-based services for people with disabilities. However, it’s difficult to navigate the benefits system. NDC addresses this need, and is the only Colorado company that offers a program that teaches everything necessary to apply for a Colorado Medicaid waiver and maximize its life-changing benefits.

Meet NDC’s Founder

Founder Maureen Welch (she/her) is the mother of a disabled child who taught herself to successfully navigate Colorado’s confusing and bureaucratic Medicaid disability benefits system. After discovering how daunting the process can be, she dedicated her life to empowering the disability community to successfully advocate for services.

NDC’s Badass Advocacy

Maureen Welch earned her reputation as the Badass of Colorado’s disability system by establishing herself as a leading legislative policy advocate and expert resource. Maureen leverages her powerhouse reputation and political clout to cut through red tape and fight for truth and justice.
